Having the ability to stay focused is important if you aspire to success on your quest to be a more enlightened being.

Living an enlightened life, in which your thoughts and experiences reflect an authentic state of existence, is only possible if you possess the concentration needed to be mindful, non-judgmental and balanced at all times.
Even if you have not achieved true enlightenment, you can enhance the quality of your journey by taking steps to improve your mind’s focus.

Try these 11 strategies to hone your attention span and decrease the likelihood of distraction and unorganized thought.

Make Mind Strengthening A Top Priority

Because enlightenment is an intense process that involves commitment, you will need to give exercises and meditation sessions that strengthen your mind an important role in your life.

This is particularly important if you are prone to daydreaming or struggle with mental focus. Practice and passion is essential for success.

Try To Maintain A Routine

If your career and personal life consist of complicated tasks that often require great attention to detail, then establishing a consistent routine in addressing these items can enhance your focus.

Turn your mind to each task, one by one, in order of importance each day.

Optimize Your Environment

When working on exercises to improve your focus and attentiveness, do so in an environment that brings you comfort, peace and freedom from distraction.
