How To Get Pregnant Naturally

Whether you’re trying for your first bundle of joy or you’ve found yourself ready to expand your brood, when you decide you’re ready for a new baby, nine months is long enough to wait. There is a sense of eagerness when manifesting pregnancy which can make infertility struggles profoundly difficult to bear.

Though there is sadly no sure-fire cure for infertility, you can try some natural approaches if you’re finding it harder than you would like to get pregnant.

Hypnosis

Though thoughts of hypnosis may still leave you picturing a cheesy state fair show at which an audience member is made to cluck like a chicken, this form of medical treatment is becoming a more universally accepted remedy.

Contemporary practitioners of hypnosis use this method to promote relaxation, which can improve your fertility. By helping you relax, hypnosis can prevent the release of cortisol, a hormone that upsets the delicate balance ever-present in your body.

When tested with women who were undergoing in vitro fertilization procedures, hypnosis proved a promising effectiveness booster. Because hypnosis is extremely non-invasive, giving this treatment a shot won’t leave you any worse the wear, even if you don’t end up pregnant at treatment’s end.

Relaxation Techniques

If you feel that stress may be playing a part in your conception struggles but you aren’t inclined to try hypnosis, consider employing another relaxation technique. A host of techniques, from yoga to guided visualization, can help you relax and have the same positive effects on your fertility.

If you decide to try one of these techniques, fully commit to it and dive in. If you are over the age of 35, seek traditional medical treatment in conjunction with your relaxation techniques if you’ve been trying for more than six months to get pregnant.

Acupuncture

Though it’s often depicted as an off-the-wall practice, many moms and dads would beg to differ as they have found success in using this practice to conceive. This ancient Chinese medicinal practice of inserting needles into the skin to promote balance can help both women and men who struggle with infertility.

For women, the practice can increase the likelihood of ovulation and for men it can bolster sperm count. While not everyone is sold on this practice, there are studies that confirm it could have a positive effect on fertility. If acupuncture appeals to you, be sure to find a registered acupuncturist to ensure that you receive the best quality of treatment.

Chiropractic Adjustment

Could getting pregnant really be enhanced by sitting through a massage? Well, not exactly. While chiropractic adjustment can include some level of massage, it also includes adjustment of the vertebrae, which can be less of a massage and more of a snap!

Because the nerves that run down your spine control nearly everything in your body, including your fertility, some believe that adjusting these vertebra could enhance your chances of making a baby. This natural treatment is a relative newcomer to the field of infertility treatments, so research proving or disproving the effectiveness is spotty at best.

Dietary Changes

The most scientifically supported way to enhance your fertility naturally is to change your diet. Dietary modification can positively affect both males and females trying to conceive. For women, consuming a balanced diet rich in lean proteins, fruits and vegetables is a must as carrying excessive weight inhibits fertility.Pin It

Women trying to get pregnant should also avoid alcohol and coffee as both have been tied to inhibiting ovulation. Men should avoid soy-based foods, as they have been tied to reduced sperm counts.

To promote the production of healthy sperm, men should increase their consumptions of vegetable oils. For full effect, you must participate in this dietary modification consistently, as these changes will only enhance fertility if implemented over an extended period.
