Discover The Joy Of Waking Up To Your Life’s Purpose

Maybe you don’t know yet what your purpose is in life, or you only know that you want something more than what you currently have. Perhaps the uncertainty of these questions has left you with self-doubt.

It can be very difficult to observe that the people around you are attaining their true potential and making big changes to the world or reaping great financial success. However, this doesn’t mean that you have to give up and simply accept that there is nothing better in store for you.

Sometimes all the obstacles and negativity that we encounter on our path are actually indicators that we are heading in the right direction. Instead of moving away from your life purpose these signs are actually pointing you in the right direction and preparing you for the important changes that are just ahead.

If you experience any of the following very clear signs in your life, it means that you are on the verge of unlocking the true purpose in your life. You can then embrace your path and discover the true joy of waking up to your life’s purpose.

1. Your Life Has Felt Like An Emotional Roller Coaster For The Past Few Years

One of the big signs that you are on the verge of an awakening is the sense that your life has been like an emotional roller coaster. It may feel like certain aspects of your personality no longer feel like something you really identify with any longer.

In turn, you could even feel yourself being drawn toward new people or hobbies without really being sure why it is happening.

It makes sense when you begin to realize that stepping into your purpose often only happens when receiving surges of energetic support. These surges make it possible to expand our awareness, but they can appear and feel very different from what we might expect. The key element is to put our trust in these surges of support.

For example, you may feel like distancing yourself from the things that no longer serve you in life, but with it comes a sense of disappointment, loss or even grief. Others might experience it as a feeling of renewed excitement or even feel driven to be of more service.

Along with these feelings, there could also be a sense of connection as well as a sensation of urgency to realize your life’s purpose.

2. You Have Been Drawn To Reading More Self-Help Literature

The notion of waking up to your real purpose in life is not a new one, but it is becoming more popular, which has brought about an almost domino-like effect. This is because as soon as somebody wakes up to their purpose, it can lead to others experiencing their own awakening.

The energy released into the world by a person awakening can take many forms, one of which is books, which contain the passing on of wisdom. There are also many other forums, such as healing practices.

If you find yourself being drawn to the subject of spirituality, healing practices or even just an interest in uncovering your own highest potential the chances are good that you are on the verge of an awakening. As soon as it happens, your life will change and you will in turn begin to affect the lives of others with the energy you bring into the world.

3. You Not Only See The Potential In Others, But Want To See Them Fulfill It

Because life tends to act as a mirror, we often see a direct reflection of what is happening on the inside when we look outward. Simply put, the things that you notice in others are usually the same things that are vying for your attention in yourself.

If you keep seeing how much potential there is in other people it means that you have the exact same potential yourself, but it needs to be expressed. This is also why you want to see others fulfill their potential.

When you are feeling stuck in terms of waking up to your own potential it can manifest as frustration and even hurt at seeing those around you not fulfilling their full potential.

4. You Find Yourself Procrastinating A Lot

One of the most surprising signs that you are on the verge of stepping into your life purpose is actually procrastination. Although it might sound preposterous, it actually makes a lot of sense when you actually examine what form your procrastination takes.

In most cases, procrastination is simply the fear of doing or completing something. If you don’t finish doing something, there is no risk of other people seeing it.

This also means that they cannot criticize or reject you. Unfortunately, sabotaging yourself right from the start in order to avoid this perceived outcome is not a long-term solution.

This is also the case when you find yourself procrastinating in regards to making things happen in your life. Although you might be close to waking up to your purpose, it often also means that there are certain fears that you want to acknowledge. Once this is accomplished, your conscious mind can then turn to actively fulfilling your purpose.

5. Addiction Or Self-Destructive Behaviors Have Been A Struggle On Your Life

Another sign that might not be immediately obvious in terms of waking up to your true purpose is struggling with some type of addiction. It doesn’t matter whether it has to do with gambling, alcohol, food or anything, as it is typically just a distraction for something you are afraid to see in yourself.

If you do some introspection you’ll realize that the times when you experience the cravings leading to an internal struggle often occur when you were thinking or experiencing something related to your purpose.

Live Your Purpose Instead Of Seeking It

Once you are aware of these signs in your life you will find that instead of having to seek your purpose, you simply have to open your eyes, wake up to it and then allow yourself to consciously live it.

Unfortunately, the pain and frustration of becoming aware of your new purpose can often feel like you have taken a wrong turn and your life is on the wrong path.

Although the journey leading up to finding your life’s purpose can be a tough one you will find that once you “wake up” you will be living a life full of awareness. In turn, this will keep you grounded in the present and centered, so that you are able to fully experience the richness of life.

Virtually everyone is in search of their life’s purpose, and there are just as many people claiming to offer an instant way how to discover what it is, but ultimately the answers lie within you.
